Oushak
Originating from the 15th century Turkish Oushaks are still being made in Oushak Turkey today. Oushaks were originally used to decorate the Ottoman palaces. They are made from the finest quality of wool and colored by natural dyes. We have several antique carpets ranging from 60 to 80 years old as well as our own custom pieces that are made in Oushak. Kayseri
The town of Kayseri, located in Central Turkey, is known as one of the best carpet making areas and is most famous for their silk carpets. Kayseri carpets are often woven from wool with a cotton foundation or entirely from silk The design is most often a floral pattern. The wool is dyed using vegetable dyes . We have a large selection ranging from 35-80 years old and sizes 2X3 to 11X15.

Ladik
The town of Ladik, Turkey is located in central Anatolia. Ladik is one of the oldest carpet making areas in Turkey. Ladik carpets have a much tighter weave than the Kayseri and a thicker pile. They are made of wool with a cotton foundation and most often are found in beautiful shades of red, yellow, and blue. We have sizes ranging from 7X10 - 12X15.

Hereke
The finest of all Turkish carpets. The village of Hereke is known for producing the finest hand knotted carpets in the world. Woven in pure silk or cotton and wool. Double knotted using the Turkish knot. The design is usually a floral pattern or more complex motif. Sizes range from 5X8 to 10X14.

Tribal
The tribal carpets are made in small villages of Anatolia. The carpets are made of wool and are mostly in bright shades of red, blue, and green. The tribal rugs tend to have a geometric design or important symbols.

Patchwork
The patchwork rugs are handmade in Turkey. The rugs are made using scraps of old Turkish rugs that are very worn or in need of repair. Sizes range from 5X7 to 10X14.
